Father Desbois is a French Catholic priest who founded Yahad-In Unum, which is dedicated to systematically identifying and documenting the sites of Jewish and Roma mass executions by the Nazis. He is the author of Holocaust by Bullets, winner of the National Jewish Book Award, and holds the Braman Chair for Holocaust Studies at Georgetown University, the first Jesuit University in the United States.  If you would like to attend and sit with ΑΣΝ members contact Kelly Darby at the information below.

“Vino é Buono” (wine is good).  You and a guest (21+ years) are invited to join us for an afternoon of learning about wine from owners of this local family winery, June and Clyde Spero.  Clyde has been making wine his entire life and learned from his father who arrived in America from Potenza, Italy.  Spero Winery has opened their doors to ΑΣΝ members to share their knowledge about wine while also letting us sample them in a picturesque room that looks a little like a restaurant in Italy.  Cheese and crackers will be provided, and wine can be purchased there.  Donations for this event will be accepted at the door.

Bart Geger, S.J. the best in the next chapter of his life.  We are very sad to see him leave Regis University, and our ΑΣΝ Club, but want to extend our warmest farewells to him.  It will be a fun evening of roasting/visiting with Fr. Perfect for the month of October!  Meet at Regis University in Denver at 1:00 p.m. to take bus to the oldest cemetery in Colorado for a historical walking tour.  After the tour we will return to Regis University for chili, cider and a slide show about haunted houses in Denver. Dennis Gallagher will lead the historical tour and share tales of hauntings, even a few at Regis.  The cost is $5.00 per person, and there is limited seating on the buses so first-come, first-serve.
